Habitat Housing Projects in Southeast BC

Driven by the belief that everyone deserves a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home, Habitat for Humanity Southeast BC has been partnering with families across our region for over 20 years.

Together with volunteers, donors, and local governments, we’ve built 21 homes and supported more than 25 families — and we’re just getting started.

In Progress: Cranbrook Housing Project

In July 2025, Cranbrook City Council approved the donation of land at 2600 4th Street South to Habitat for Humanity Southeast BC for the construction of a side-by-side duplex. Each home will feature three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and an unfinished basement — giving space for families to grow.

This exciting new project builds on our successful 2014 partnership with the City of Cranbrook and reflects a shared commitment to expanding affordable homeownership opportunities for working families in the region.

Construction timelines and updates will be shared soon — stay tuned!
